“One Body For Two People”: This Is How 28-Year-Old Siamese Twins Live!
Meet Abigail and Brittany Hensel, two sisters who were born joined together. They share one body, but each has their own personality.
They have one torso, two arms, two legs, and three lungs. They each have their own heart and stomach, but they share the same blood supply.
Their spinal cords end in one pelvis, and they have the same organs below the waist. Doctors warned that separating them would be very risky, so the sisters decided to stay together.
As they grew up, their interests and preferences started to differ.
Abby prefers staying at home and loves art, while Brittany enjoys being outside and is interested in math.
Despite their differences, the sisters work together as a team.
They went to university, got their driver’s licenses, and now teach math to young students.
Abby controls the right side of their body, and Brittany controls the left side.
