According to Hailey, the conflicts and controversies surrounding her and Gomez are not rooted in their personal feud but rather in the unfounded and distorted reasons that lead to “hateful and disgusting” hatred, which can be incredibly dangerous.

Hailey emphasized her dislike for the idea of being divided into opposing “teams” based on loyalty to one person or another.

She wants to be someone who brings people together rather than fueling divisions.

The model also expressed her disappointment that all the manufactured conflicts revolve around a man. She finds it terrible and hates the fact that she is constantly misunderstood. Hailey questioned why they have to repeatedly clarify that there’s no problem. She believes it’s disheartening to see people act this way because of a man, but unfortunately, that’s the reality of our world.
