Creating a legend: archive photos from the set of “Titanic”
We can confidently say that James Cameron’s film “Titanic” is a legend. It won Oscar statuettes, was loved and appreciated all over the world. Everyone can say that it is impossible not to get excited every time you watch the movie.
And do you like to see what happened behind the scenes? Here are some archival behind-the-scenes pictures that will remind you of the movie, and if you haven’t seen it yet, they’ll make you watch it.
As we know, the film was shot in the 90s, and at that time, there were no modern possibilities that are used to make a film today. Special sets were prepared for Titanic, and the graphics were minimal.
Cameron was always next to the actors, controlling their every movement, look and action. That is why he often appeared in the frame of his own films.
Many scenes were filmed in water, and the water was really icy. This was done so that the actors could feel those emotions and be fully in their roles. After filming, they immediately warmed up in the hot water pool so as not to get sick.
The “Titanic” is a drama. But, as you can see from the pictures, there was a positive and friendly atmosphere on the set.
How many times have you watched the “Titanic”? It was really interesting to see how that legendary film was shot, wasn’t it?
