Sometimes, hope is all we have, and that was the case for Roscoe. He was tied up with straw in an abandoned house, waiting for his family to bring him food every week. Even when he ran out of food and water, he never lost hope that someone would rescue him.

Things took a turn for the worse when it started snowing in Illinois. Roscoe wondered if he would survive the cold nights. Fortunately, someone noticed the poor puppy and called the Animal Shelter.

Officer Vanessa and warden Michel wasted no time and rushed to his rescue. When Roscoe saw them approaching, he knew his troubles were finally over. He ran towards them, filled with happiness and relief.

They wrapped Roscoe in a warm blanket and took him to safety in their car. It was the first time in weeks that he felt warmth and comfort. Roscoe couldn’t contain his joy and kept whining with happiness.
